Please see the following guidelines to know how to protect yourself while caring for a COVID-19 infected family member at home:
- Isolate the PERSON WITH COVID-19 INFECTION from other family members and make sure the rooms are well ventilated.
- Take care of the PERSON WITH COVID-19 INFECTION’s personal belongings properly.
- Wash hands properly before and after contact with the PERSON WITH COVID-19 INFECTION and their belongings.
- The PERSON WITH COVID-19 INFECTION, their caregivers and all family members need to wear masks when having contact with each other.
- Keep things clean.
- Retest if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or 7 days after exposure.
